This is a replica rapier, a sword that was popular in Western Europe, featuring a slender pointed blade. It was favoured both by civilians (duelling and self-defence) and as a military sidearm throughout the 16th and 17th centuries.
This Black Hilted Rapier features a black powder-coated complex swept hilt and a ergonomic wire wrapped grip. It has a truly fantastic profile and is an this is an excellent piece for cutting practice or display.
